Heute Mittag kam es zu einem Mehrstündigen Ausfall von Unitymedia. Ca 320.000 Haushalte im Bereich Offenbach, Frankfurt und näherer Umgebung waren davon betroffen. Angeblich hat ein Kurzschluss den Ausfall verursacht. Nichts ging mehr. Telefon, Fernsehen sowie Internetzugänge versagten Ihren Dienst.
Besonders blöde wenn man sich komplett von Unitymedia abhängig gemacht macht. Denn auch ich habe mein Telefon, Fernsehanschluss und Zugang zum Internet bei den Jungs am laufen. Nicht mal das gute alte Analogfernsehen funktionierte. Innerhalb von zweieinhalb Stunden war zum Glück der Schaden dann behoben.
OK, kann passieren. Eine hundertprozentige Ausfallsicherheit kann kein Netzbetreiber garantieren (leider). Bin mal gespannt wie sich Unitymedia dazu äußert, vielleicht gibt es auch eine kleine Wiedergutmachung.

Ich bin auch bei Unitymedia und ebenfalls “komplett abhängig”
Hab aber nix davon mitbekommen. Naja, ich wohn ja auch eher in Osthessen.
Aber schon heftig, wenn so viele Menschen für 2 einhalb Stunden weder Telefon noch Fernseh noch Internet haben.

Dann hattest Du vielleicht Glück. Bei so einem Ausfall ist man ist wirklich völlig abgeschnitten.
Wen man einem Junkie seinen Stoff entzieht ist halt schon heftig.
